Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Yolo County Fair is the largest and oldest free gate fair in California. It maintains this status because of the hundreds of volunteers, county/community support, sponsorships, and partnerships with county businesses and individuals.

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for:

• Business development; planning, and organizational structuring
• Recruitment, training and supervising employees and volunteers
• Purchasing
• Facility maintenance and improvement projects
• Contracting
• Technology / lnformation Technology
• Social Media
• Fund-raising, grant, and sponsorship development
• Public relations
• Develop and manage budgets
• Maintain sound fiscal policy to ensure financial success of the DAA
• Monitor day-to-day record-keeping
• Create and implement marketing plans and strategies
• Prepare board and government required documents
• Produce community-relevant programs, entertainment activities and special events
• Demonstrate effective leadership
• Articulate and explain the goals of the DAA as well as the vision of the Board of Directors
