Colusa-Glenn Farm Credit is offering two paid internship positions for the summer of 2023. The internship program will begin in mid-June and last for eight weeks.
Colusa-Glenn Farm Credit: Our mission is to support rural communities and agriculture with reliable, consistent credit and financial services, today and tomorrow. Our Colusa and Willows offices work together to provide exceptional service to our borrowers. Our wide range of financial services and a staff with firsthand knowledge of the diversity of agriculture allows us to work with our borrowers to meet their needs.
Objective: The paid internship program will include an overview of the Association’s processes and procedures, including accounting, credit, and legal documentation. The program will focus on credit analysis and will also involve all aspects of the Association, including governance, accounting, appraisal, etc. The program will include reviews of the Association’s marketing plan, social media research and reviews of their Youth Lending Program.
Timeframe: Starting June 12, 2023, and ending on August 4, 2023 (eight weeks). Beginning date is flexible.

Employment Type: Full Time
The hourly wage is $18.00 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrolled in college as an undergraduate (sophomore, junior, or senior)
- Majoring in business, finance, agriculture, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge of financial services industry
- General knowledge of the agricultural industry
- General knowledge of basic financial/accounting terms and applications
- Skill in using computer programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Be organized and methodical with communication and work documentation
- Ability to take direction
- Valid CA driver’s license
Intern will be responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association’s systems and data and borrowers’ data
