Job Description – Intern

Employer: January Innovation Inc.

Location: California Central Valley (Lodi, California area). This is not a limiting requirement as the job can be remote with one or two in person meetings a month.

January Innovation is looking for an intern that is comfortable problem solving and working independently at a fast pace. A background in agriculture is ideal to better understand the work environment. Must be comfortable making decisions in a remote setting. This is an entry level position, with the potential to grow for the correct person.

Approximate hours per week: 20-25 hours per week
Pay Scale: $15.50-$20.00 (based upon qualifications and abilities)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting employees with technical support through website management, emails, and other databases used in the company.
  • Manage multiple social media accounts on various platforms.
  • Product research and development.
  • Creative input…. developing marketing plans for new products or ideas
  • Familiarizing yourself among the company’s various levels and being able to problem solve in each realm of the company.

Required Skills:

  • The ability and willingness to share ideas, regardless of the potential feasibility or conflict with other objectives.
  • Understands and functions well with Microsoft word and excel.
  • Able to develop ads and campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube
  • Project oriented with a deadline focus.
  • Able to manage time, with limited direct supervision.
  • Comfortable communicating and voicing opinion.
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus, but not needed
