JOB ANNOUNCEMENT – Development and Communication Coordinator – Full Time Position
The Yolo Land Trust is the only nonprofit organization whose sole mission is to conserve productive farmland in Yolo County.  With a small but highly effective staff, the Yolo Land Trust has permanently conserved over 70 family-owned farms and is working on conserving an additional 3-5 family farms in 2022.  We understand the concerns of growers because we own a 600-acre farm along the Sacramento River that is leased to local growers.  Yolo County officials as well as the local city officials rely on the Yolo Land Trust to fulfill farmland and habitat mitigation requirements, and often seek our counsel about farmland conservation.

Position Overview

The development and communication coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination and operation of the Yolo Land Trust’s development and communication programs. The coordinator serves as the lead staff for the Land Trust’s community and fundraising events, and for the written and digital communications about the organization.  The coordinator also provides administrative support as needed.
